Hidden from view in the city's cultural Merchant City these two adjoining spaces combine to make an ideal venue for a variety of events from concerts and exhibitions to receptions and award ceremonies.

This entrancing venue has kept all of its period charm, including its lofty vaulted roof cast iron columns and balcony and slender Victorian architecture to become one of the most sought after and unique venues in the city.

In addition to the Old Fruitmarket, conference organisers can choose form a selection of rooms within Glasgow’s oldest purpose built performance and meeting venue, The City Halls. Of a Neoclassical Italianate design, the Grand Hall is a lavishly decorated formal auditorium, with world-renowned orchestral acoustics, raked seating and balcony.

The City Halls also boasts a wide range of conference spaces ideal for smaller events or breakout sessions.  Featuring more than 9000 sq m of floor space over 7 levels, 3 dedicated bars, a café and mobile banqueting facilities The Old Fruitmarket and City Halls is an ideal and versatile venue for all events.
