Aimed at those who have an interest in the health of their local visitor economy and a role in creating a better future for tourism - DMOs, local authorities and enterprise organisations, BIDs and City Regions, tourism businesses and organisations, local and national government, policymakers, community influencers, tourism students and academics

We will hear from four speakers from DMOs around Scotland – a mix of urban and rural, north and south - who will talk about the challenges, solutions, results and lessons learned.

Speakers include:

Gillian Richardson, project manager for Scottish Enterprise

Jemma Reid, project manager for both the South of Scotland Destination Alliance and Midlothian & Borders Tourism Action Group.

The event will be chaired by Benjamin Carey FTS, Previously on the boards of Co-operative Development Scotland, The Tourism Society and UNESCO Scotland, Benjamin has been consulting on destination management and tourism strategy since 2002.
