Expedia Campaign 2023

New Glasgow Life tourism campaign with Expedia campaign was launched on Wednesday 25 January 2023. 

The campaign will position the city as a must visit city in 2023 in key UK and international markets.

Aims:

  • profile the fantastic city offering across accommodation, food and drink and attractions.
  • drive domestic and international visitors who stay longer and spend more.
  • provide a platform for industry to promote their products and services and drive sales.

The Plan

A flexible, targeted campaign across Expedia including:

  • Travel Spotlight page – listicles, articles, gallery, itineraries linking to visit Glasgow website.
  • Dedicated landing page – intro copy, film, themed module pages, carousels featuring direct and one-stop flights, hotels and activities
  • Display ads across homepage, destination, flight, hotel and itinerary search results pages
  • Custom social ads on Facebook and Instagram
